In 2017, when the ICO boom was in full force, Nexinter’s founder Ana Bencic had an “a-ha!” moment — she knew that the ICO bubble wouldn’t last. So Ana had a vision of a different type of digital trading platform.

Fast-forward two years and the digital assets trading platform, Nexinter, has been launched, got licensed in Estonia but chose Malta as their main head-quarter.

When Ana Bencic contacted me with her vision for Nexinter’s marketing strategy, she wanted someone that understood the dynamic of the digital assets trading business.

So, we talked about her plans and how my expertise would help Nexinter and then, our partnership was born.

This week Nexinter’s CEO Ana Bencic and CMO Daniele Mensi will attend the Malta AI & Blockchain Summit – Spring Edition (23rd / 24 May).

“Cryptocurrency trading spearheaded the rise of this technology [Blockchain] and Malta is one of the few jurisdictions to provide a legal regulatory framework for companies in the forefront of the market like Nexinter”.

Ana Bencic, CEO Nexinter

“The event is moving beyond the hype and has become one of the most important events for stakeholders in AI, Big Data, Blockchain, IoT and Quantum Technologies”

Daniele Mensi, CMO Nexinter

Blockchain PR in collaboration with the Swedish Blockchain Association is attending the event.

Following on from a successful conference in Barcelona in 2018, the European Blockchain Convention (EBC) is landing in Copenhagen on May 20th as the first international conference in the Nordic Countries dedicated to the Blockchain Industry. The event will bring together over 400 industry leaders, business decision makers, tech innovators and investors from all around the world.

Over 35 visionary speakers will address the challenges and opportunities of Blockchain Technology in Denmark’s four main sectors: Finance, Public Sector, Healthcare and Shipping. The convention, which aims to be a meeting place for all industry leaders, investors, developers, regulators, lawyers and entrepreneurs, is intended for both management profiles as well as technical profiles.

The EBC was born in Barcelona last year to become the leading Blockchain Conference for Business in Europe: “We want to contribute to the development of the ecosystem by facilitating the connection between startups, investors and corporations. Adding the Copenhagen Edition to our platform strengthens the connection between the north and the south of Europe, which is essential if we want European Startups to be able to compete with the American ones or the Asian ones”, stressed Victoria Gago, Co-Founder of the EBC (picture).

Daniel Salmerón, Co-founder of the conference, highlights that Copenhagen was chosen to host the EBC because it is currently one of the biggest tech hubs in Europe and because it has the potential to become a global leader in Blockchain. “Although we are planning to organize more editions in other European capitals, we would like Barcelona and Copenhagen to host at least one edition of the EBC every year.”

The welcome address will be held by Cecilia Lonning-Skovgaard, Mayor of Employment and Integration in Copenhagen since 2018.

Speakers on stage will include representatives from EU Blockchain Observatory and Forum, World Economic Forum, Ripple, Maersk, Danmarks Nationalbank, Trustworks, Danske Bank, IBM, ING, Bank of England, IMF, IOTA, MakerDAO, University of Copenhagen, PwC, Distributed Labs, Swiss National Bank and many more.

The event is an exceptional opportunity to connect with industry-leading experts and innovative tech start-ups within the booming Blockchain space in the Nordic countries and in Europe.
